3 Day HSE First Aid at Work Courses in Suffolk.

SA First Aid Training offer this HSE approved 3 day FAW Course in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk as part of a range of First Aid Courses incl One day Emergency First Aid (EFAW), 2 Day First Aid HSE Requalification, 12 Hour Paediatric First Aid, Basic CPR, AED Training, Manual Handling.

Our courses are run using HSE  approval through awarding International First Aid Training companies such as Qualsafe, First Aid International and Emergency First Response.
Holders of the First Aid at Work Certificate can be used as First Aiders in the workplace in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.

Skills learned during this course are:

Scene assessment
Barrier use
Primary assessment
CPR
Serious Bleeding management
Shock management
Spinal injury
Choking management
Injury and illness assessment
Bandaging and fracture management
First aid kit and accident reporting
H&S legislation in relation to first aid


The course includes theory sessions and plenty of hands on practice throughout, and will involve  practical assessments  on the last day of your course.

We keep our courses informative yet enjoyable to ensure our students gain maximum retention of the skills learned during the 3 days.

On successful completion of this course you will be issued with a certificate which is valid for 3 years.

The HSE strongly recommend you refresh your skills annually on a refresher course,

We therefore will be able to offer you an anual refresher course of 3 Hours to keep your skills current.
